Nouns

Nouns work like you'd expect them to. There is no declension. You simply put the noun where it belongs.

Here are some good nouns to know:

  • 밥: Cooked rice. (Informal) meal.
  • 식사: meal
  • 진지: (very formal) rice, meal.

And some more verbs to learn:

  • 먹다: (informal) to eat.
  • 잡수시다: (formal) to eat.
  • 말하다: (informal) to say.
  • 말씀하다: (formal) to say.

Note that some verbs are used formally, and others are used informally.
