어미 (← 기 (-ing) + 도 (also, even) + 하다 (to do)) Adds emphasis

Emphasizes the 용언 and adds the idea that it is also or even the action or description.

Examples

• 빨리 오기도 했구나.

You came so quickly! (Lit. You came even quickly!)

• 춥기도 하다.

It is so cold! (Lit. It is even this much cold!)
