명 Connective Ending

These end a phrase and connect it with the subsequent phrase.

In English, there are only a few "connectors": and, or, but, if, etc... We seem to get by alright with this limited vocabulary.

In Korean, there seem to be hundreds of these endings. As such, I've tried to give you a hint on which connector you'd want to use given the English you might see.

I believe that Korean, the way it used to be, rarely used any 종결 어미 (Final Ending) at all, but that people spoke and wrote almost entirely using these connective endings. As such, a great deal of the expressiveness of the 어미 (Ending) are still found in these endings.
