어하다

어미 Changes a 형용사 into a 동사.

This is an ending that starts with Glue.

This is actually a pretty common ending. You'll have to learn how each 형용사 changes to a 동사, because each seems to follow a different pattern. Generally, it "to be X" changes into "to think of as X". You're probably better off just memorizing the words that are changed in this way.

Examples:

• 좋아하다 (← 좋다 + Glue + 하다): to like = to think of as good
• 예뻐하다 (← 예쁘다 + Glue + 하다): to treat like a princess = to think of as pretty
• 무서워하다 (← 무섭다 + Glue + 하다): to be frightened of = to think of as frightening
