크라운산도

크라운산도 is a company that makes 과자 (snacks). Their signature item is a light, Oreo-type cookie that isn't nearly as sweet.

The box had some curious writing on it that was fun to translate.

They chose to use this form because it is an official statement and they respect their customers. In some other places on the box they used the polite, informal command form to imply fun and games, but this is a serious statement so it needs the polite, very formal ending.

Final Analysis

This is a beautifully constructed piece of fluff. It shows that Crown is aware of the climate issue, they are willing to pander to people who care about the climate issue, and they are doing their best. However, there is no definite statement about what exactly they are doing. 노력하다 is one of those verbs that says more about what the intention is than what the action is, and that's certainly the message Crown seems to be trying to send.
