Pronouns are nouns that are so commonly used that they only indicate something else.

(Note: These words can also be used as adjectives, sometimes with a dramatically different meaning.)

  • is used to "this."
  • is used as "that" or "he/she/it".
  • is used as "I".
  • is "I".
  • is "you." There's also 당신, 그대, 여보 and some others.
  • 우리 is "we" or sometimes "I".
  • 저희 is "we" humbly.
  • 너희 is "you" in the plural sense, not spoken humbly.
